Initial Visit - Your initial visit consists of an oral examination which includes charting, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.  We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of interproximal decay of posterior teeth.

Root Canal - When the pulp or "nerve center" of a tooth becomes unhealthy, two alternative treatments are available: extraction or root canal therapy. Root canal therapy permits the tooth to be retained and restores its health so that it can function normally and look natural.

Fillings/Resin - Tooth-colored fillings that are light cured to match your teeth.  To provide optimum longevity for your restorations and to prevent future dental decay and supporting tissue breakdown, please brush and floss after eating and before bedtime. We do recommend you swish vigorously with a fluoride mouthwash for at least 30 seconds daily.

Dental Implants - The implants are small titanium posts which are surgically inserted into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. Small posts are then attached to the implant which protrudes through the gums. These posts provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth.

Crowns/Bridges - You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to metal. Crowns and bridges will replace your missing teeth structure or missing teeth very well and should give you years of good service. 

Porcelain Veneers - Veneers are thin, custom made casings that cover the front side of your teeth. Veneers are used to correct uneven teeth, worn enamel, discoloration, chipped teeth and irregular spacing. After a thorough examination of your teeth, which may include X-rays and taking impressions of your teeth, your dentist removes a thin layer of enamel from your teeth. Then he or she will create an impression of your tooth or teeth and send it off to a laboratory to create the veneer. While the mold is being created, your dentist may provide you with temporary veneers.

Whitening - One of our options is our home whitening system.  This is something you could get  results in 2 weeks. Teeth’s whitening has become very popular for a whiter and brighter smile because it's fast, simple and inexpensive with excellent and predictable results.

Periodontal Treatment - You should have a standard cleaning, called a prophy, at least twice a year. During your checkup, the dentist will examine your gums. This is called a periodontal examination. An instrument called a periodontal probe is used to gently measure the pocket space between each tooth and gum. This will determine the depth of periodontal pockets. A pocket size of three millimeters is considered normal unless gum recession is present. Generally the more severe the disease, the greater the pocket depth. Treatment methods depend upon the type of disease and how far the condition has progressed. The first step is usually a deep cleaning called scaling and root planning. That includes scaling to remove plaque and tartar deposits beneath the gum line, and the tooth roots may also be planned to smooth the root surface allowing the gum tissue to heal and reattach to the tooth. In some cases, the occlusion (bite) may require adjustment.
