Meet the Doctor
Todd A. Goldensoph D.D.S.
Dr. Todd Goldensoph was born in Peoria, IL and moved to Davenport, IA at a young age. He attended Davenport North High School. In 1995 he graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State)with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He received his degree Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa in 1999. After Dental School, he worked in Saginaw at a private practice as an independent contractor for 12 years. In 2011 he opened his own practice that is unique to his own dental style, dedicating himself to patient care and satisfaction.
He has been married to Jennifer since 1997. They have four boys: Hunter (1999), Easton (2001), Avery (2003), and Beckett (2008). He enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, or watching television with his two white boxers, Rose and Lily. In 2021, the Goldensoph's were further blessed when two exchange students, Ines Fila (Italy) and Madalena Mira (Portugal) entered into their lives. Now Jen and Doc have the daughters they were never able to have.
Gwen DeCorte
Business Manager/Dental Assistant
Gwen has been in the Dental field since 1996 and has worked with Dr. Goldensoph since July 2004. She earned her Certificate in Dental Assisting in 1997 from Ross’s Dental Assistant Program and has since gone through several dental courses at Delta College and in 2012 she earned an Associates in Arts and a Liberal Arts Macros Advanced Certificate. She was also employed as a Dental Instructor for Ross Medical in 2023 and has served on their Board of Advisory. She applies her skills in all areas of the dental office including dental assisting, treatment planning, financial planning, scheduling, insurance billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Gwen lives in Saginaw Township and has three children and two grandsons, whom she adores. She also has a Yorkie-Poo named Milo. When not working she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and being involved in her church. She has a love and passion for dentistry, a heart for people and enjoys serving the needs of the patients.
Carissa Guzman
Dental Assistant
Carissa has been a dedicated dental assistant at our office for over 13 years. A graduate of Ross Medical Center's Dental Assisting program, she brings both skill and compassion to every patient interaction. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, she is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in thier dental care.
Outside the office, Carissa is a proud mom to three daughters and enjoys spending her free time crocheting, walking her dogs, and making memories with her family. She believes in the power of small acts of kindness-both in dentistry and in life.
Laterra Washington
Registered Dental Hygienist
Laterra has been working with Dr. Goldensoph since 2021. Graduating from Delta College’s Dental hygiene program in 2018, Laterra is proud to be the first to graduate in her family. She really enjoys the dental field and plans to retire with Dr. Goldensoph.
She is a huge history lover and will often discuss genealogy with her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.
Leah Schipinski
Dental Assistant
Leah Schipinski is a dedicated dental assistant with over 10 years of experience in the field. Originally from Kinde, Michigan, Leah has built a career rooted in patient care, precision, and professionalism. Her background in cosmetology reflects her passion for helping people look and feel their best, a value she carries in her work every day.
Outside of her professional life, Leah is a proud mom to a spirited two year old daughter and an adventurous three year old son. She finds joy in the simple moments: cooking homemade meals, taking walks and spending time at the park with her kids. With deep Polish roots, Leah embraces family, tradition, and hard work in all aspects of her life.
Camryn Carl
Registered Dental Hygienist
Camryn is a Delta College 2025 graduate. She has been with Dr. Goldensoph since 2020, working as his dental assistant. She returned to the office after dental hygiene school as a registered dental hygienist.
Camryn is a horse lover and equestrian, spending most of her time riding and training her horse. She also has two weenie dogs whom are her fur-babies.
